Programs Offered
Basic Nursing Program
Duration: 3 years
This foundational program prepares students for professional nursing practice through a comprehensive curriculum, including courses in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health, and community health nursing.
Outcome: Graduates are eligible for licensure by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
Post-Basic Nursing Program (Specialized Nursing)
Duration: 18 Months (Varies by Specialty)
Designed for registered nurses, this program allows specialization in pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, or midwifery. It equips nurses with advanced knowledge and skills in their chosen specialities, preparing them for leadership roles.
Admission Requirements
  • Obtain English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology credits in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB examinations.

  • Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs.
  • A photocopy of your SSCE results.

Documents & Requirements (Assumption/Registration)
  • Letter of sponsorship (from candidate’s local government council chairman / parents / guardian / statutory bodies / husband / other significant person)
  • Identification letter from Local Government Area of origin (original + one photocopy)
  • Educational qualifications (original + three photocopies)
  • Testimonial from principals (original + three photocopies)
  • Birth certificate or statutory declaration of age (original + three photocopies)
  • Change of name (if applicable; original + three photocopies)
  • Two recent passport photographs (white background only)
  • Multiple affidavits (undertaking by parents/guardians; undertaking by student; good conduct; non-membership of secret cult)
  • Medical certificate of fitness from any Government General Hospital
Dress Code
  • Females: black leather cover shoes with rubber sole
  • Males: black leather cover shoes with rubber sole
  • Sandals and high-heeled shoes are NOT allowed
Required Equipment
  • Medium size surgical scissors
  • Wrist watch (must have second hand)
Notes
  • All results of investigations must be presented to the school.
  • Photocopies of some items are submitted to the legal officer of the Ministry through Department of Nursing Services, Ministry of Health Asaba.
  • Failure to assume studies or meet registration requirements within 2 weeks may cause admission to lapse; slot may be offered to another person.
  • Fees paid are non-refundable.
